She was predeceased by: her parents, Pablo Garcia and Maria Magdalena Garcia (Mendez); her husband Louis Mathias Schuler; and her siblings, Mary Hope, Raymond Perez, Max Perez, Manuel Perez, Gumicindo Berumez, Jesse Hurtado, Tony Garcia, Paul Garcia and Frank Garcia.
She is survived by: her friend Dee; her children, Thomas Schuler (Sam) of Stoughton, Wisconsin, Tracy Weidemann (Tom) of Schaumburg and Teresa Jelinek (Craig) of Stoughton; and her siblings, Dave Garcia (Linda) of Silverdale, Washington and Theresa Kappmeyer of Oelwein. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 6:30 PM and on Wednesday, November 27th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Jamison-Schmitz Funeral Home (221 N Frederick Ave, Oelwein, IA 50662). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, November 27th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (628 S Frederick Ave, Oelwein, IA 50662).
