It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Darlyn Streit (Oelwein, Iowa), who passed away on November 5, 2019, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Marvin Ohl and Edna Ohl (Manross); her husband Robert Streit (Bud); and her siblings, Lucille Hill of Oregon, Norma Strempke of Independence and Howard Ohl of Hazleton.
She is survived by: her former husband Donald Spragg; her children, Joyce Christensen (Jim) of Cedar Falls, Eveanna Streit of Prairie, Chien and Donald D. Spragg of Farmersburg; her sisters, Vivian Leyh of Oelwein and Marlys Nissen (Danny) of Waterloo; and her friends, Dorothy Rohrick of Oelwein and Barbara White of Postville. She is also survived by special friends: her favorite cats.
