She was predeceased by: her parents, Guy "Skike" Walker, Jr. and Nancy Lee Walker (Sorenson); her great-nephew Cravin David Moser; her sisters, Patty Williams and Vicki Moser; her sister-in-law Pam Walker; her mother-in-law Lavon Oakes; and her siblings-in-law, Dave Oakes and Debbie Sandvig.
She is survived by: her former spouse Thomas Joseph "T. J."; her husband T. J. Oakes of Oelwein; her stepdaughters, Renae Janecek (Gary) of Dallas, Rhiannon Nehl of Cedar Rapids and Genevieve Oakes of Oelwein; and her siblings, Lynn Boleyn of Oelwein, Steve Walker of Dayton, Duane "Swartz" Walker of Oelwein and James Walker (Tammy) of Oelwein. She is also survived by 7 Step-Grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.
