With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Clinton Oscar Lau of Oelwein, Iowa, who passed away on January 6, 2022 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clinton Hanson Lau, Sr. and Dorothea P. Augusta Lau (Fink); and his brothers, Aaron, Leland, Alvin and Gary Lau.
He is survived by: his former wife Barbara Jean Luther; his children, Kathleen Lau of Hazleton, Karen Smith (Jim) of Arlington, Dennis Lau (Carol) of Oelwein, Dan Lau of Des Moines, Clinton H. "Butch" Lau of Rio Vista and Craig Lau (Kathy) of St. Cloud, Minnesota; his grandchildren, Clinton J. Lau (Angie) of Denver, Amber Lau of Denver, Clayton J. Smith of Cedar Rapids and Grace Marie O'Brien (Quinn) of Coralville; his siblings, Alverda Ohl of Oelwein, Marlene Ciminera (Joe) of Walnut Creek, Wanda Luther of Lansing, Dorine Keatley (Melvin) of Lansing and Daryl Lau (Linda) of Oelwein; and his sisters-in-law, Ruth Lau of Oelwein and Janie Lau of Seattle, Washington. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, social distancing and masks are suggested at the visitation and service.
