She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Emma Ditmars and Archie Ditmars; her grandfather Henry Ditmars (Mary); her husband Leonard; her son James; her brother Robert Ditmars; her sister-in-law Lola; her sister Marilyn Leonard; and her brother-in-law John. She was also cherished by six granddaughters and one grandson, three great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Iowa City Friends of the Animal Center Foundation or Iowa City Hospice.
