She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Sandman and Sophia Sandman (Velder); her husband Conrad Grundmeyer; her son Dale Grundmeyer; her sons-in-law, Vernon Dvorsky and Bob Jones; her siblings, Leona Spieker, Marcella Koenig, Henry Sandman and Leonard Sandman; her granddaughter Jenny Grundmeyer; and her great grandchild Lennon Schara.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sheryl Hammel (Joe) of Castalia, Lila Dvorsky of Marion, Jane Groth (Bob) of Garber, Mary Samuelson (Sharm) of Oelwein and Julie Grundmeyer of Des Moines; and her daughter-in-law Julie Grundmeyer-Sandhagen (Ray) of Edgewood. She is also survived by her 18 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
Memorials may be directed to the Catholic Daughters of The Americas in Oelwein or the St. Croix Hospice.
