He was predeceased by: his parents, John Bengford and Nettie Bengford; his wife Shirley Bengford; and his siblings, Leo, Joe, Lawrence, Marie Pollien, Rita Tiefenthaler and Allie Bernhardt.
He is survived by: his children, Cathy Fink of Denison, Rodney Bengford (Lisa) of Harlan, Debbie (Todd Brotherson) of Denison, Sharon (Bob Melby) of Arion, Alan Bengford of Denison and Cindy (Alan Ahart) of Denison; and his niece Diana Anderson. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren.
