He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Clayton Schroeder and Mary Schroeder (Blum) of Wall Lake, IA; his spouse Schroeder Farms; his former wife Donna Rae Thevenot of Odebolt, IA; his children, Jenny, Greg, Jennifer Hustedt (Matt) of Omaha, NE, Ryan Schroeder (Cherity) of Odebolt, IA, Frank Gregory Schroeder (Jeana) of Odebolt, IA, Abby Veit (Tyson) of Odebolt, IA and Jeff Schroeder (Mandy) of Odebolt, IA; his grandchildren, Kennedy, Gabby, Garrett, Lizzi, Mia Hustedt of Omaha, NE, Isabelle, Alexandra, Olivia, Jack Schroeder of Odebolt, IA, Camden, Jaron, Presley, Kason, Frankie Schroeder of Odebolt, IA, Maggie, Charlie, Libbie, Wendie Veit of Odebolt, IA, Teagan, Kiersten, Beckett and Riley Schroeder of Odebolt, IA; his siblings, Tom Schroeder (Diane) of Wall Lake, IA, Richard Schroeder (Melody) of Odebolt, IA, Linda Bush (Warren) of Wall Lake, IA, Margaret Ann Powers (Rick) of Gladstone, MO, Cathy Middleton (Lyn) of Sedalia, MO and Lisa Drost (Rod) of Wall Lake, IA; his granddaughter Maci Schroeder; and his parents-in-law, Chester and Lorraine Thevenot. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established in his name.
