He was predeceased by: his parents, Wayne Bauer (Jerry) and Dorothy Bauer; and his niece Cami Bettin. He is survived by: his sisters, Donna Bauer of Omaha, NE, Joleen Manion of Omaha, NE and Darlene Lussman (Mark) of Storm Lake, IA; his nieces and nephews, Wayne Manion (Christie), Beth Arias (Jay Goode), Joshua Manion (Oliva), Matt Lussman (Sara), Jeff Lussman (Angie) and Jessica Bettin (Scott); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Brooke, Maclin, Jensen, Piercen, Mason, Isabelle, Joshua Jr., Rose, Kiptyn, Brigham, Addy, Easton, Braxton, Erin, Caden and Calvin. He is also survived by extended family and friends.
