He was predeceased by: his parents, Byrl Johnson and Shirley Johnson (Cole); his siblings, Clancy Johnson, Richard Johnson, Edison Johnson, Lyle Marrow, Wilma Madson, Barbara Stan, Dorothy Kyle, Rosemary Lesko, Mattie Williams, LaVon Marrow and Mona Williamson; his brother-in-law Ronald Murr; his nephew Doug Vitzosky; and his niece Darla Johnson.
He is survived by: his siblings, Dale Johnson, Sr. of Denison, IA and Bernice Murr of Odebolt, IA; and his stepsiblings, Walter Marrow of Sioux City, IA and Artie Peters of Sparks, NV. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
