It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Mott of Odebolt, Iowa, who passed away on December 28, 2021, at the age of 54, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father George Mott (Ed); and his pet King. He is survived by: his mother Elaine Mott (Heckert) of Wall Lake, IA; his wife Janet Mott; his pet Harley of Odebolt, IA; his parents-in-law, Don and Lois Dunkin of Odebolt, IA; his siblings, Doug Mott of Wall Lake, IA and Janene Raasch (Matt) of Odebolt, IA; his sisters-in-law, Joan Olerich (Dale) of Kiron, IA and Carol Larson (James) of Sherman, TX; and his nieces and nephews, Kristina Rake (Cody Granahan) of Humboldt, IA, Amber Rake (Danny Sorensen) of Odebolt, IA, Drayton, Jaxon Raasch, MacKenzie, Rylin Mott, Becky Robertson (Nick) of Moscow Mills, MO, Rodney Olerich (Sara) of Odebolt, IA, Brandy Jonsson (Brendon) of Lumberton, NC and Kyle Larson (Katie) of Sherman, TX. He is also survived by extended family members and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made in David's name to any animal rescue shelter, the University of Wisconsin Carbone Cancer Center, or charity of your choice.
