She was predeceased by: her parents, Horton Jacobsma and Arta Jacobsma (Franken); her husband Larry Brunk; her daughter Susan Ackerman; her siblings, Irene DeYoung (John), Harvey Jacobsma (Gladys), Marvin Jacobsma (Irma), Blanche Frick (Vertus) and Orville Jacobsma (Delores); and her brother-in-law Nelson Alsum.
She is survived by: her son Wade Brunk of Round Lake, MN; her son-in-law Todd Ackerman of Ocheyedan, IA; her grandson Derek Ackerman (Megan); her great grandchildren, Quinnley of Ocheyedan, IA and Sydney of Ocheyedan, IA; her grandson Devin Ackerman (Amy); her great grandchildren, Blair of Harris, IA, Brynn of Harris, IA and Tess of Harris, IA; and her siblings, Ruth Alsum of Randolph, WI and Verlyn Jacobsma of Ocheyedan, IA. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
In lieu of flowers Brunk family prefers memorials be directed to St. Peter Lutheran Church or Tracy House of Ocheyedan.
