He is survived by: his wife Ruby Brunk of Worthington, MN; his son Wade of Round Lake, MN; his son-in-law Todd Ackerman of Ocheyedan, IA; his grandson Derek Ackerman (Megan); his great grandchildren, Quinnley of Ocheyedan, IA and Sydney of Ocheyedan, IA; his grandson Devin Ackerman (Amy); his great grandchildren, Blair of Harris, IA, Brynn of Harris, IA and Tess of Harris, IA; and his nephew Brad Brunk (Roxann) of Spencer, IA.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to St. Peter Lutheran Church in Ocheyedan and/or Wood-Miller American Legion, Post # 326 of Ocheyedan, IA.
