He is survived by: his wife Yvonne Bales of Ocheyedan, IA; and his children, Tesa Lynn Taylor of Davis, SD, Kurt Bales of Waterloo, IA and Thim Bales of Ocheyedan, IA. He is also survived by five grandchildren, one great grandson and several other family members.
