He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Bremer and Adele Bremer (Ostermann); his wife Marian Janssen of Paul's Lutheran Church; his siblings, Arlene Range (Donald) and Alvin Bremer (Marge); and his brothers-in-law, Arliss Janssen, Leslie Janssen and Ron Jasper.
He is survived by: his children, Mark Bremer (Jodi) of Ocheyedan and Wendy Stonestreet (Kerry) of Shawnee, KS; his grandchildren, Tristen, Jaydee, Christopher Bremer of Ocheyedan and Philip Buchman of Overland Park, KS; and his siblings-in-law, Delores Janssen, Sharie Jasper and Loren Janssen. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Jurrens Funeral Homes - Ocheyedan (855 Main St, Ocheyedan, IA 51354). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Zion Lutheran Church (1303 Tanager Ave, Ocheyedan, IA 51354).
