He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Gelder and Elaine Van Gelder (Tracy); his uncle Lenard Tracy; and his niece Mandy Van Gelder. He is survived by: his brother Dennis Van Gelder of Ocheyedan, IA. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other extended family.

Family will not be present and social distancing guidelines will be followed.
