Marian Meyer Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marian Meyer of Oakville, Iowa, who passed away on January 9, 2025 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis Malcom and Cora Malcom (Munson); her sons, Mike, Edward Pendell and Harold; and her siblings, Ray, George Malcom and Maxine Thornton.
She is survived by: her daughter Kathie Whitaker (Dale) of Oakville; her grandchildren, Doug, Monica, Lance, Dane, Gesena, Nathan, Trista and Kayla; and her brother Harry Lewis Malcom (Joyce) of Keithsburg. She is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren; 13 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Snyder & Hollenbaugh Funeral & Cremation Services of Wapello (209 Franklin St, Wapello, IA 52653). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Parsons Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial has been established for Oakville Fire and Rescue in Marian's name.
