She was predeceased by: her parents, Bart Bartholomew and Beverly Bartholomew; her brother Gary; and her granddaughter Milly. She is survived by: her husband Keith Spanhut; her children, Brian Spanhut (Jayme) of Johnston, Anna Neilson (Eric) of Manhattan, KS, Laura Scholten (Nick) of Orange City and Kay Boyer (Kevin) of Kalona; her grandchildren, Daxton, Tucker Spanhut, Kathryn, William, Owen Neilson, Danica, Grant, Tate, Bentley Scholten, Roslyn and Everett Boyer; and her siblings, Anita Herker (late Martin) of Traer, Sarah Bartholomew of Des Moines and Bill Bartholomew (Cathy Cullicott) of Arizona. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be directed to the Southeast Iowa Regional Hospice House in memory of Judy.
