She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Wiegand and Edna Wiegand (Fisher); her husband Edward M. Lanz; her daughter Karen Schulz; her siblings, Eunice Wuthrich (Jim), Hazel Geyer (Walt), Elizabeth Grimm (Jess), Joe Wiegand, Al Wiegand and Ralph Wiegand; and her sister-in-law Emma Jean Lanz.

She is survived by: her children, Kathy Frank (Curtis) of Mediapolis, Ken Lanz (Janet) of Wapello, Keith Lanz (Tonya) of Mediapolis, Joni Massner (Troy) of Wapello, Tom Lanz (Mary) of Oakville and Ron Lanz (Timna) of Oakville; her son-in-law Gary Schulz (Melody) of Burlington; her sister Sharon Hodel (Irv) of Peoria, Illinois; and her siblings-in-law, Lois Wiegand of Burlington, Martha Wiegand of Morning Sun and Robert Lanz of Oakville. She is also survived by 43 grandchildren; 113 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild.
