He was predeceased by: his parents, James Frizzell and Emma Mae Frizzell (Kennedy); his wife Shirley Bates; and his siblings, Edna Beaty, Calvin Frizzell, Lyle Frizzell and Opal Beaty.

He is survived by: his children, Kathi (Dean Sharp), Debbie (David Simonin) and Jamie Frizzell (Rebecca); his grandchildren, Rachel Urbank (Brandon), Megan Schmidt (JP), Jon Simonin (Melissa), Matt Sharp (Elly), Shelby Simonin (Scott) and Madison Sharp; and his great grandchildren, Bella, Landon, Daniel, Malia, Kai and Thomas.
