It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Jean (Oakland, Iowa), who passed away on July 25, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Stamp and Ethel Stamp (Jipsen); her husband Glen E. Swope; her brother Don Stamp (Marge); and her parents-in-law, Lester Wooten, Beryl, Dorothy Swope, Gordon, Ruth Swope and Dean Swope.
She is survived by: her children, Steven L. Swope of Oakland, IA, Suzanne "Sue" Fischer of Atlantic, IA and Shawn Evans (Ray) of Hancock, IA; her grandchildren, Steve Swope (Shelly), Shane Swope (Darcy), Sheila Singleton (Russell), Wesley Fischer and Kaci Perkins (Abby); her great grandchildren, Riley, Kelcy, Sydney Swope, Tyler Williamson, Cole, Dalton, Gavyn, Hayden and Wyatt Fischer; her great great grandchildren, Kennedy Swope and Noa Williamson; her sister Darlene Wooten of Longview, TX; her sister-in-law Dolores Swope of Lewis, IA; and her friend Judy Thompson. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
