Barb Weirich Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 26, 2025, at the age of 71, Barb Weirich of Oakland, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilma Waller Weirich (Berry) and Gerald Weirich; her brother Royce Weirich; her niece Jordan Muxfeldt; and also Westyn.
She is survived by: her son Chad Weirich of Elk Horn, NE; her granddaughter Codie Jo Weirich of Fremont, NE; her great grandchild Kaycie Aelin Weirich of Fremont, NE; her sisters, Carol Weirich of St. Ann, MO and Leah Muxfeldt (Scott) of Logan, IA; and her friends, Mike Harvey and Sue Jones. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, cousins.
Barb was encouraged to become a blood donor by her dad and was a faithful blood and platelet donor, donating just shy of 9 gallons of blood products throughout her life.
