She was predeceased by: her parents, Marvin Ruggeberg and Lillian Ruggeberg (Farmer); her son Dennis; and her sister Marcella Schmidt. She is survived by: her former husband Donald R. Wachal; her husband Ballroom; her sons, Donald J. Wachal (Sharon) and Douglas R. Wachal (Lisa); her grandchildren, Tracy Naab (Lou) and Cory Wachal (Joanna); and her great grandchildren, Sam, Louis, Charlotte Naab, Nora and Bodhi Wachal.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
