She was predeceased by: her parents, Alphonse Bange and Ida Bange (Pickart); her husband Edward Smith; her sisters, Celestine Schulte (Dolly), Hildegarde Simoens and Marcella Murphy (Butch); and her granddaughter Loriann Mead.
She is survived by: her children, Edward A. Smith Jr. (Ellen) of Martelle, Kristine Veneski of Ocala, FL and Jill Petrzelka (Tom) of Leonard, TX; and her grandchildren, Rodney, Dawn, Wendi, Ricky, Matthew, Lyndsay and Jason. She is also survived by many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
