She was predeceased by: her parents, Wayne McVay and Helen McVay (Kokes); her husband Jerry Schulte; her granddaughter Jessica Schulte; and her sister Billie Anne.
She is survived by: her children, Scott Schulte (Lea) of Norway, Shane Schulte (Tracy Seboldt) of Norway, Sheila Schulte of Kalona and Shari Kahle (Dan) of Norway; and her siblings, Nancy (Gary Stallman), Bob McVay (Gloria) and Dick McVay (Monette). She is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren.
