He was predeceased by: his son-in-law Jeff Prevost; and his parents, Otto Haendler and Christina Busse Haendler. He is survived by: his wife Marlene Joann Douglas; and his children, Debra Prevost (Doug Stover) of Mesa, AZ, Christina Coleman (Randy) of Overgaard, AZ, Rik Haendler (Brenda) of Norway, IA and Dik Haendler of Fort Madison, IA. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
