She was predeceased by: her parents, Delbert Garwood and Anna Garwood (Siepmann); her husband Richard; her stepgrandson Shane Eckholm; and her siblings, George Garwood (Marie), Marcella "Sis" Olson (Loraine), Virgil "Fish" Garwood (Rita), Bernadine Marks (LeRoy), Merle Garwood (Leota), Ila Duncalf (Wilfred) and Dennis "Red" Garwood.

She is survived by: her sons, Doug (Julia) of Atkins, Tim of Norway, Ken of Norway and Greg "Joe" (Latoya) of Norway; her grandsons, Alex (Desirae Hesseltine) and Austin Himmelsbach; her great grandchild Wyatt Himmelsbach; her stepgranddaughters, Sherry Bayeur (Brian) and Amanda Vogt; her stepgreat-grandson Brendan Bayeur; and her sister-in-law Pat Garwood.
