She was predeceased by: her parents, Marion Scarrow and Clara Scarrow (Pencook); her husbands, L. Dean Snell and Wayne Borchardt; her daughter Deanna Cross (Bob); her sisters, Pauline Chapin (Kenny), Phyllis Helwig (Vernon), Dorothy Baumgartner (Leon Woodward) and Alta May Held (Bill); and her in-laws, LuVern and Anna Snell.
She is survived by: her children, Brian Snell (Mary), Mark Snell (Cindy) and Sue Griffith (Randy).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to First United Methodist Church in Mason City, IA or Plymouth United Methodist Church in Plymouth, Iowa.
