He was predeceased by: his parents, Dick Stander and Esther Stander (Schreur); his stepmother Winnie Stander; and his brother-in-law Gary Van Gelder. He is survived by: his wife Lois Ruth Zevenbergen of Norwalk; his children, Jana (Garry Brumels), Pamela (Boyd Erickson), Randall (Crystal Stander), Nancy (Michael Sadauskis), Amy (Richard Borrink) and Ryan (Karina Stander); his sister Phyllis (Harley Kleinwolterink) of Orange City; his siblings-in-law, Carol Van Gelder of Orange City, Muryl, Rose Korver of Hospers, Audley "Bud" and Mary Korver of Council Bluffs; and his stepsister Lois (Roger De Geest) of Casa Grande, Arizona.. He is also survived by twenty grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be directed to the First Assembly of God Church in Seadrift, Texas.
