He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Moklestad and Ruth Moklestad; and his brother Bob Moklestad. He is survived by: his children, Nancy, Tim, Mark and Teresa; and his wife Mavis. He is also survived by four children, 10 grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren, along with countless friends.
