It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lorie Lynne Schnathorst of Norwalk, Iowa, born in Des Moines, Iowa, who passed away on September 19, 2023, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her husband Emlin Schnathorst Jr.; her children, Cristial Logston, Richard Logston, Cherrie Beth Schnathorst, Emlin Schnathorst III (Chip) and Alex Schnathorst; her grandchildren, Mercedes Greim, Lexus Greim, Hunter Schnathorst, Paige Schnathorst, Mikaylah Logston (Juan Jaime Hernandez) and Evan Logston (Alyvia Garcia); her great grandchildren, Lucas Perry, Maddix Logston, Violeta Jaime and Emilio Jaime; her siblings, Larry Throckmorton (Lisa Crawford), Brenda Roush (Mark Stephens), Gayla Gilliland (Weston Dailey), Rusty Throckmorton, Raymond Throckmorton, Chasity Cowden and Tiffany Richards; her aunt Cherrie Bass (Bishop); her parents-in-law, Emlin Sr. and Dianne Schnathorst; her brother Carl; her sisters-in-law, Karen Schnathorst and Nila Schnathorst; her brother Daniel; and her sister-in-law Stacey Schnathorst. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to St. Jude's Childrens Hospital in Lorie's honor as it held a special place in her heart.
