It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Judith Kathryn Farrell Corcoran of Norwalk, Iowa, born in Saint Louis, Missouri, who passed away on August 13, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Francis Wayne Farrell and Mary Kathryn Kinman Farrell; her daughter Meg; her granddaughter Harriette of Minneapolis; her son Sean; her grandchildren, Everlyn and Maxwell; her brother Stephen Farrell; and her nieces and nephews, Carly and Jacy.

She volunteered as weekly reading partner with students at Lakewood Elementary School for nearly 10 years before the COVID-19 pandemic halted volunteering opportunities.

In lieu of flowers, Judy requested memorials be made to Norwalk Hometown Pride, the Norwalk Easter Public Library Foundation, Des Moines Refugee Support, or Whiskers TNR.
