He is survived by: his wife Shanna Spurr of Norwalk; his children, Dylan Scott Spurr and Haylie Lynn Spurr of Norwalk; his parents-in-law, Steven and Sandra Swietlik of Tingley; his brothers, Randy Spurr (Cindy) of Norwalk and Rick Spurr (Kathy) of Atlantic; and his siblings-in-law, Jeremiah Swietlik (Allie) of Mount Ayr and Jessica Swietlik of Des Moines.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Helping Heroes Foundation.
