It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of David Petersen of Norwalk, Iowa, born in Atlantic, Iowa, who passed away on June 21, 2023, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Petersen and Clara Petersen (Newton); his sister Susan Smith; and his fathers-in-law, Marv Warrick and Kenny Burk (Marj).
He is survived by: his wife Kathy; his children, Brad Petersen (Erin), Craig Petersen (Andi), Stacy Petersen, Melissa Eshelman, Molly Depping (Jesse), Jed Eshelman (Jenny) and Mariah Lavin; his siblings, Rita Windle and Tom Burk (Audy); his brother-in-law Marty Warrick; his mother-in-law Betty Warrick; and his cousins, Lyle Petersen (Cindy) and Paul Petersen (Tiffany). He is also survived by nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
