With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Anderson of Norwalk, Iowa, born in Lamoni, Iowa, who passed away on December 22, 2021 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd and Eva (George); and her siblings, Roy, Cecil Martin and Sharon Hoshaw (Martin).

She is survived by: her husband George Martin Anderson; her children, Sandra Skaggs of Earlham, Sharon Vote (Steve) of Glendale, AZ, Rebecca Jensen (Rollie) of Humboldt, Bonnie Wichman (Rich) of Norwalk and George Anderson (Tonja) of Pocahontas; her grandchildren, Chris Skaggs (Michelle) of Adel, Staci Schaum (Gary) of Glendale, AZ, Scott Vote (Alison) of Chandler, AZ, Malinda Norris of Scottsdale, AZ, Machelle Norris of Peoria, AZ, Adam Wichman (Nicole) of Norwalk, Tiffanie Wichman of Sioux City, Emma, Olivia and Julia Anderson of Pocahontas; her great grandchildren, Cheyanne, Bella Skaggs of Adel, Alex Schaum of Minot, ND, Alyssa Schaum of Glendale, AZ, Bryton, Tayleigh, Jessalyn Vote of Chandler, AZ, Lily, Sophie and Reese of Norwalk; and her sister-in-law Sandra Martin of Round Rock, TX.

In lieu of flowers, family requests memorials be directed to the American Cancer Society in Betty's honor.
