Ruvella B. Barnd Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruvella B. Barnd of Northwood, Iowa, who passed away on June 10, 2020, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Ruvella B. Barnd to pay them a last tribute.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Albert E. Brunsvold and Cora Brunsvold (Roslein); her former husband Ferguson "Ferg" Hickman; her children, Robert "Buck" Hickman (Rebecca) of Northwood, Russell Hickman of Northwood, Harold "Pep" Hickman (Sally) of Northwood and Marvin Hickman (Nancy) of Forest City; her stepdaughter Francis Gaffney; her son-in-law Roger Egan; her brothers, Orlan Brunsvold and Richard Moen; her husband Harry Barnd; her stepmother Syliva (Moen); her daughter Carol Dee Reyerson; her grandson Gary Reyerson; her daughter-in-law Judy Hickman; her granddaughter-in-law Harriet Egan; her son-in-law Robert Gaffney; her half-brother Donald Brunsvold; her stepbrothers, Kenneth Moen and Dale Moen; and her sister Audra C. Brunsvold. She was also cherished by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
To further honor Ruvella, the family suggests memorials be directed to the Lutheran Retirement Home in Northwood.
