It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roger L. Gentz of Northwood, Iowa, who passed away on October 19, 2022, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Wilmer and Olga "Caroline" Gentz (Thompson); his wife Eloise Beth Johnson; and his sister Viola Samuelson. He is survived by: his children, Brenda of Northwood, Steven Gentz (Kristi) of Hastings, MN, Bradley Gentz (Reniah) of Osage and Deanna Gentz of Northwood; his siblings, Junette Burrier and Violet Baldwin; and his brother-in-law Fred Samuelson. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
