We are sad to announce that on December 13, 2023, at the age of 98, Phyllis Mortenson of Northwood, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Tony Hrubetz and Esther Hrubetz (Thoen); her former husband Robert Reeder; her husband Clarence Mortenson of Northwood; her son Bob; and her stepdaughter Kay.
She is survived by: her children, Patricia Stromley (Richard) of Mason City, Daniel Reeder (Carolyn) of Northwood and Dennis Reeder (Janet) of Northwood; her stepdaughter Melissa Mortenson of Minneapolis; and her grandchildren, Randall Stromley (Kris) of Des Moines, Robert Stromley (Kristi Tabbert) of Mason City, Anneke Urbatsch (Jake) of Northwood and Garret Reeder (Danielle) of Ankeny. She is also survived by four great-granddaughters and four great-grandsons.
