He was predeceased by: his parents, John Liljedahl and Olga Liljedahl (Groe); and his siblings, Arden, Cynthia, LaVonne Cochran, Shirley Borgan and Marlys (Bob Gable).
He is survived by: his wife Carol Benson; his daughters, Heidi Felland (Eric) of Rosemount, MN and Julie Bute (Rob) of New Ulm, MN; his grandchildren, Josh (Britta Grebner), Kari, Megan Felland, Emma and Ellie Bute; his siblings, Ila Hebel, Eileen Snider (Gary) and Orin Liljedahl (Sandy); and his brother-in-law Howard Borgen. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, relatives, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family would suggest memorials be directed to a charity or cause of your choice.
