It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marlene Kaye Schulte (Northwood, Iowa), born in Mason City, Iowa, who passed away on April 4, 2019, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Louis Tanner and Ila Tanner (Erickson); her daughters, Judy Stevens (Mike) of Northwood and Nancy Dodge of Inman, SC; her grandchildren, Brooke Simpson (AJ) of Moore, SC, Kristen Dodge of Inman, SC and Aaron Stevens (Sarah) of Kensett, IA; her great grandchildren, Blake and Ella; her sister Betty Brown of La Crescent, MN; her sisters-in-law, Donna Tanner of Lakewood, CO and Dorothy Schulte of Manly; her husband Donald; her brothers, Robert, Larry and Rollald Tanner; and her siblings-in-law, Truman Schulte, Virgil Schulte, Marvin Schulte and Delores Schulte. She was also cherished by numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.

In Lieu of Customary Remembrances, the family suggests memorials be made to the Marlene Schulte Memorial Fund to be donated in her honor to Hospice of Albert Lea and the Northwood Volunteer Fire Department.
