He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilman E. Butler and Jennie M. Butler (Stromley); his granddaughter Faith Elaine Turner; his brother Carrol Butler; his sister-in-law Karen Butler; and also, Willie E. and Edythe K. Johnson.
He is survived by: his wife Elaine Johnson; his daughters, Lori Turner of McKinney, TX and Susan Nelson (Brian) of Northwood; his grandchildren, Megan, Wyatt Turner, Ashley Murrel (Richie) and Brock Nelson; his great grandchildren, Ryan, Alana and Erik; his brother Glen Butler of Kensett; his sister-in-law MaryAnn Christianson (Gary) of Northwood; and also Mavis Swartwood (Darrell) of Shakopee, MN. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.
