He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond C. Gentz and Dorothy A. Gentz (Schmidt); and his siblings, Karen, Kenneth and Brian.
He is survived by: his wife Kathleen M. Grell; his son Tony of Northwood; his granddaughters, Alexia of Northwood and Casey Gentz of Northwood; his brothers, Ronald Gentz (Kathleen) of Northwood and David Gentz (Cheryl) of Northwood; and his brothers-in-law, Jim Grell, Rick Grell (Kay) and Randy Grell (Connie). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
The family suggests memorials be directed to First Lutheran Church or the Northwood Volunteer Fire Department.
