He was predeceased by: his parents, John Lawler and Marian Lawler; and his brother James Lawler. He is survived by: his wife Lois Colleen Lawler (Willis); and his children, John Joseph Lawler IV and Janet Marie Lawler (Benjamin Clay Helms).
