He was predeceased by: his parents, Irving Hendrickson and Gilma Hendrickson (Hanson); his sisters, Ivadene Dale and Marcella Olson; his parents-in-law, Denver and Irma Osmonson; and his brothers-in-law, Jim Dale, Roger Osmonson and Gary Osmonson.

He is survived by: his wife Ann Osmonson; his siblings-in-law, Ron Olson (Diane) and Sara Osmonson (Pike); his nieces, Jane Ford (John), Susan Cadile (Matt), Jill Osmonson, Jana Osmonson and Karin Harrison (Christopher); his nephew Nathan Olson; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Sarah, Taylor, Abby, Hilary, Hannah, Halle, Autumn, Christopher and Hunter. He is also survived by three great-great nephews.

Visitation was held on Sunday, March 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday, March 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Deer Creek Lutheran Church (4598 Zinnia Ave, St Ansgar, IA 50472).
