He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Peterson and Luella Peterson (Larson); his daughter Amy Jo Peterson; his siblings, Duane Peterson and Beverly Thrond; and his brothers-in-law, Marlin Sandsmark and Kenneth Dahle.
He is survived by: his wife JoAnn Peterson; his daughters, Peggy Peterson (Steve Labno) and Penny Twedt (James); his granddaughters, Emily Schmidt (Jeff), Betsy Fraser (Bobby) and Katie Twedt (Ben Trunnel); his great grandchildren, Caroline, Charlotte and Claire Fraser; his sister Katherine Sandsmark (Kitty); and his sister-in-law Betty Peterson. He is also survived by many in-laws, nieces, and nephews.
He quit bee keeping the first year of the pandemic, but a swarm found the box in the back of his truck, so he ended up with 1 more year of honey.
