He was predeceased by: his parents, George V. Dierks and Elaine M. Dierks (Barker); and his siblings, David Dierks and Norma Jean Dierks. He is survived by: his son John Christopher (Dawn); his wife Myra Esther Nelson of Paul's Lutheran Church; his daughter Jeannie Tenold (Dan); his grandchildren, Tanner Iseminger, Emma Dierks, Kelsey Bushbaum (Matt) and Tiarra Walk (Derreck); his great grandchildren, Grady, Baylee, Opal Walk, Kollyns and Leighton Bushbaum; his brother Eldon "Butch" Dierks (Cheryl); his cousin Gary Dierks (Kathy); and his sister-in-law Delores Praska (Gene). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Emmanuel Lutheran Church - Grafton (308 4th Ave, Grafton, IA 50440). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Emmanuel Lutheran Church (308 4th Ave, Grafton, IA 50440).
