With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donald Harang of Northwood, Iowa, who passed away on October 1, 2024 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Donald farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Donald is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ole Harang and Alpha Harang. He is survived by: his children, Becky Tews (Henry), Sonya Mortell (Kevin), Stacy Laborin (Gilbert), Eric Harang (Tammy) and Gloria Truitt (John); and his siblings, Mavis Halvorson and Arlyn Harang (Bev). He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, and 26 great-grandchildren.
