With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Chris Irby (Northwood, Iowa), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 8, 2025 at the age of 49. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Chris may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Earl Irby and Barbara Tatum; and his sister Margart Boyce. He is survived by: his daughter Alexandra Irby (Wyatt Holmen); his close friend Angela Dirksen; his former wife Felicia Deen; his brother Jared Gentz; his daughter Harli Reich; his nephews, Brandon Boyce and O'Brian Boyce; and also Raelynn.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Nordic Lanes (1003 8th St N, Northwood, IA 50459).
