With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carolyn R. Thompson of Northwood, Iowa, born in Canton, Minnesota, who passed away on February 10, 2024 at the age of 87. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Carolyn R. Thompson to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Russell and Mae Russell; her brothers, Bart and Ronald Russell (Stanley Thompson); her daughter Nancy Hickman; her son-in-law Marv Hickman; and her grandson Cody Madden.
She is survived by: her husband Stanley Monroe Thompson; and her children, Dr. Ronald R. Liljedahl (Lorie), Sandra R. Madden, Sharyl A. Anderson (Steve), Susan M. Odden, Jacqueline E. Berg (John), Bernard S. Thompson (Renee), Paul S. Thompson (Ramona), Jody S. Collins (Michael) and Nicole Ochoa (Israel). She is also survived by 21 grand kids, and many great grandkids.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Carolyn Thompson memorial fund in care of the family.
