He is survived by: his wife Jean Weyers; his children, Cary Van Veldhuizen (Carol), Lorene Bolhuis (Dan Goble), Mark Van Veldhuizen (Trish) and Julie Pierce (Tom); his grandchildren, Nicole, Dylan (LeAnn), Logan, Ethan, Justin and Aaron (Cierra); his great grandchildren, Case, Reeves, Alice, Remi, Dawson, Holden, Lucy, Jentry, Korbyn and Alvina; and his in-laws, Gary (Barb), Dr. Roger (Adonica), Norman (MaryBeth), Brenda (Scott), Raevyn (Lane) and Tristan.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 20th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Schroeder-Hoff Funeral Home - Northwood (1211 10th St S, Northwood, IA 50459). A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the First Lutheran Church (309 9th St N, Northwood, IA 50459).
